WHO IS SIMANGELE “SMASH’ HADEBE AND WHY IS RGM CRANES SPONSORING HER?
Smash is Boxing South Africa’s two-time female prospect of the year winner, two-time African Boxing Union undefeated champion and undefeated South African champion. While fighting her way to a world championship, Smash’s passion is creating change around conversations that are left unspoken around child abuse. This is extremely close to her heart being a survivor of sexual, mental, physical and emotional abuse as a child.
Many young children across South African feel very alone and frightened in their unsafe environments and Smash is often found reaching out to communities through school talks to provide an avenue for children to speak up, be heard and feel safe and loved.
